Catherine Brisebois, B.A.

Holder of a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sexology as well as a member of the Order of Sexologists, my career began in a high school where listening and helping relationships were offered to students who wanted it. It was also in this environment that I strengthened my passion for sex education for young adolescent.es. I have developed a great sensitivity to adolescent realities and an in-depth knowledge of their psychosexual development. I now offer sexology counselling for adults with sexual and relationship difficulties or wish to improve their sexual and emotional life.

I am a caring listener and I have an approach that promotes the regaining of power over one’s experience. I create a space free of judgment where the individual is the own expert of his or her experiences. This space allows the individual to find meaning in his or her own thoughts and emotions in order to foster a better understanding of the self, from a feminist and humanist perspective.
