Rachel Fortin M.A.(c)
Sexologist Psychotherapist Intern
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and currently a candidate in a clinical Master’s program in Sexology, I provide therapy to individuals and couples using systemic and cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approaches. My work is grounded in understanding relational dynamics as well as exploring the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that shape lived experience.
Throughout my background in helping relationships, I have worked with a diverse clientele ranging from adolescents to adults. I have developed particular experience working with women and with individuals living with eating disorders.
In psychotherapy, I pay close attention to the interactions between the individual and their environment, while supporting the development of concrete tools that foster sustainable change. I strive to offer a safe space where vulnerabilities can be explored without judgment. I view therapy as a collaborative process in which pace and goals are defined jointly. My intention is to support each person with sensitivity and respect, taking into account the uniqueness of their reality.
