Juliette Favreau M.A.(c)
Approaches, intervention styles, and experience in sexology
My clinical approach is grounded in a humanistic and relational perspective that is trauma-informed, feminist, and intersectional. I particularly orient my work toward supporting couples, taking into account both individual experiences and the relational dynamics in which the difficulties are embedded.
I adopt a systemic understanding of relational issues, paying close attention to interaction patterns, communication styles, power dynamics, and the social and cultural contexts that influence partners’ emotional and sexual lives. My interventions aim to create a safe space that encourages the expression of needs, validation of lived experiences, and the collaborative development of satisfying relational patterns.
