A team specialized in the trans & non-binary community<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Fran\u00e7ois, Claudia, Audrey, Nina and Sarah have specialized in working with the TRANS and non-binary community to offer them follow-up during their transition or to clarify their questions about their gender identity. WPATH’s Transsexual, Transgender and Non-Conforming Gender Health Care Standards are used. We are able to do an assessment for gender incongruence\/dysphoria to identify the needs in a trans\/non-binary person and offer the appropriate services. <\/p>

Having developed throughout our university training and private practices a penchant for this population, we are able to offer the letters of recommendation and follow-ups necessary to obtain hormonal treatments and breast and genital surgeries. Each sexologist can also accompany you for a follow-up or reflection on your trans or non-binary gender identity. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Conditions for letters: <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Hormone therapy:<\/strong> 1 letter required. Generally 1 session is sufficient, sometimes 2 depending on your situation. <\/p>

Breast reduction<\/strong> (transitions from Female to Male or non-binary, queer, gender fluid): 1 letter required. It is not necessary to have been on hormone therapy to obtain it. <\/p>

Genital surgeries:<\/strong> 1 letter required. 1 to 2 sessions to obtain it. You must have been on hormone therapy for at least 6 months to make the meeting, otherwise the letter will be invalid. We are 2 sexologists and psychotherapists at the clinic who can write these letters. <\/p>

No therapeutic follow-up is necessary to obtain the letters. Follow-up is offered according to the need and request of the person who consults. <\/p>

Our role is to help you choose and move forward in your transition. It is never our job to choose whether or not you can do it. However, we may recommend follow-up to ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible and to ensure your personal well-being. <\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
